| 1.ANDUO Overview |

Anduo and Jiarong, two Tibetan areas; Seas-nail Valley, glacier thousand years old This is a classic travel route through two Tibetan areas in Sichuan Province. On the way, you will be shocked by the contrastive styles of the old Kangba Tibetan culture and Jiarong Tibetan culture. The landscape varies from small hill of hundreds meters to great mountains of about five thousand meters high. All that you can find here is the wideness of Chengdu Plain, the delicateness of Kangding towns, the loftiness of Zhuoduo mountain pass, the gracefulness of Xindu Bridge, the holiness of Tagong, the grandness of Yak Valley, the uniqueness of Danba Shengju and Suo Slope, and, the sweetness of Sea-snail Valley Hotspring.
The first day: sightseeing in Beijing
The second day: Now we are in Chengdu City. The local snack is worth a try. The city dwellers are quite good at enjoying freedom and leisure of their life. The city that night never falls on is romantic and tender, passionate and wild …
The third day: Chengdu – Luding – Kangding (coverage: 280km)
The only thing you can do is to use you camera to take every thing in when you travel along the pretty Qiyi River and the lofty Er’lang Mountain, through the Er’lang tunnel (4.1km), and on No. 318 National Highway. Ah, what a leisure, lazy and cozy town!
The fourth day: Kangding – Zheduo Mountain – Juli Temple – Xindu Bridge (coverage: 70km, gravel road) Leaving Zheduo Mountain Pass (4298) behind, we will get to Zheduo Holy Mountain. The trip requires a very good physical condition. And please bear in mind that less exercises is safer. Move on. Tibetan housings scatter around in different styles, yet small villages seem the same. White Tibetan towers are simple and unique. At last we come to a small temple without grand halls – Juli temple blessed by the Gongga Snow Mountain! There are lots of national level cultural relics in the small building. Here is also the paradise for photographers. Even a peasant resting on horseback can make an outstanding picture.
The fifth day: Xindu Bridge – Tagong – Bamei – Danba (coverage: 180 km, including 120 km pitch road)
We will have a good view at the gold tower in memory of Panchen and the famous Tagong Temple. Outside the temple, there are shops selling Tibetan stuff. And there you can see many pious Buddhists worship the temple. Looking into the wall, you can see white towers gleaming in the sunshine. Anther temple stands ahead a few steps away, with its gold top donated by Tibetan peasants. Of course, one thing shouldn’t be missed here, that Danba Beauties are well known in the world.
The sixty day: Danba – Wadan Road – Sea-nail Valley (coverage: 180 km, pitch road in mountainous area)
The seventh day: Sea-nail Valley – Chengdu City (coverage: 280 km)
In modern times, chance for us to see glacier and virgin forest is really rare. And now we have it in Sea-nail Valley. We will arrive at the third camping site by car and climb onto sightseeing platform on foot, where we can have a nice view at the Frozen Waterfall and other sceneries. A cup of beer, delicious Sichuan food – a half day as happy as if in heaven! And we end up our trip here.
The eighth day (May 7th) Chengdu – Beijing (or other cities)
We go back to Beijing by air at noon. And if you think the journey ends up too early, you can organize your own team to linger about in Sichuan Province. There will be a lot of fun in Bamboo Sea in South Sichuan, Yellow Dragon in Jiuzhai (Nine Village), Grand Buddha in Leshan, etc. In a word, back to home or going on traveling, is on your decision!

In case that irresistible weather trouble like freezing road and traffic delay would occur during our journey, we have made backup plans. Our trip goes on with a guaranteed quality. Of course the travel routes would have to be readjusted.
