中国肽谷网2008年4月23日讯：今天是中国深圳蛋白质和多肽科学大会开幕的的第二天，多肽科学家、世界著名酶法多肽专家邹远东教授在会议休憩间应邀与世界著名蛋白质科学家Harold A. Scheraga 博士见面，Harold A. Scheraga 博士参观了中国肽谷·武汉九生堂生物工程有限公司的展台后，为中国肽谷·九生堂在国际蛋白质和多肽领域作出的贡献及取得成就表示赞赏。

Biography of Dr.Harold A.Scheraga
Prof. Harold A. Scheraga is Todd Professor of chemistry, Emeritus, Baker Laboratory of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Cornell University. He is author of more than 1100 articles in scientific journals and of the books “Protein Structure” and “Theory of Helix-coil Transition”. During his career Prof. Scheraga was awarded several honors: he is Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Member of the Society for Biological Chemistry and winner of the Kendall Award, Mobil Award, IBM Award, Hirschmann Award, Nichols Medal and Pauling Medal and others.
